How to Break your Own Spell
This ritual effectively breaks a spell you have cast and no longer want. It will break the spell, reverses the results, and clears your and the target’s spiritual path from all energies.
What you will need
- One white candle
- Rosemary essential oil
- A written copy of the original spell. If you no longer have the original spell, write down the target’s name(s) and the original purpose of the spell.
- Cauldron or fireproof dish
- Lighter or matches
Breaking your own Spell
This spell is best cast on a Sunday during the dark or waning moon.
Cast your circle and invite the quarters. Next, anoint the white candle with rosemary oil, then place the candle in the center of the altar and light it.
Fold the original spell three times. Light it from the candle’s flame and let it burn in a fireproof dish. State your intent out loud that this spell is no longer needed. Focus on your wish for at least 5 minutes. If you have difficulties focusing on breaking the spell, speak to the universe out loud and explain why you want to remove the spell.
Afterward, chant three times:
This spell is broken
As soon as I have spoken
The energies are terminated
That’s what I have stated
The results are reversed
All energy dispersed
Allow the candle to burn out.
Thank the quarters, then release them and close the circle.
Take the ashes and the candle remains and bury them in a shady spot.
How to Break a Spell Cast Against You
This spell is similar to the spell to break a curse, but it works not only for curses, but any spell that was cast against you, even love spells.
Spell Ingredients
- One black candle
- Sage essential oil
- One wooden bowl
- Pure water, rainwater works best
Breaking the Spell cast against you
Cast your circle and invite the quarters.
Anoint the black candle with sage oil and engrave your name into the candle. Fix the candle to the bottom of the bowl with a few wax drippings.
Place the bowl in the center of your altar. Fill the bowl with pure water. Next, light the candle and concentrate on all the energy being removed.
Allow the candle to burn down. Once it reaches the water, it will go out, and the spell will be removed.
Thank the quarters and release them, then close your circle.
Give the negative energy back to the Earth by burying the candle and water in the ground. It would be best if you did this somewhere not close to your home.
